We typically think of toxins as being outside the home - from air pollution to bacteria and viruses. However, they are found in the home too! There’s a range of ways that toxins make their way into our living quarters, from the chemicals in store bought cleaners, to mould from excessive humidity or simply from small airborne particles such as lint and dust mites.
Not to worry though - essential oils are here to rid your home of nasty toxins and create a naturally safe space for you and your family.
Ready to give your home a detox?
Start by getting yourself a diffuser
An essential oil diffuser is one of those ‘go-to’ tools to continue to combat toxins safely. Your diffuser works by breaking down a pure essential oil into a very fine mist. The mist then travels through the air and neutralizes any chemicals, viruses or bacteria lurking around.
Diffusing essential oils is not only simple but economical too and it’s a reliable method to improve the air quality in your home with natural fragrances. A diffuser is the perfect partner to help you combat toxins!
A few ideas for diffusing;
- Diffuse Peppermint to boost energy and focus in the afternoon
- Diffuse Frankincense to reduce anxious feelings
- Diffuse Lemon as natural pick me up and air freshener
- Diffuse Lavender to promote a calming environment (great before bed)
